Marketing Nerd. Philosophy Enthusiast. Feminist.
What you need to know about my writing style:
- I break every rule that exists about cliches and metaphors.
- I can’t make an intentional pun to save my life.
- I ghost-write daily for SMEs, so here I don’t censor my style and tone.
- I respond to comments. A conversation will ALWAYS be more interesting than a blog post. Always.
Some stuff you might (or don’t) want to know about me.
Nothing in my life has gone the way I planned, and I quickly learned that what I think I want is never what I actually need.
- I wanted to go to NYU. I graduated from the University of Scranton.
- I literally laughed at my professor who said I had a “knack” for marketing. I didn’t want to sell my soul to “The Man”. Now I’m an inbound fangirl.
- I never wanted to get married or have children. I have an amazing partner and an exuberant tiny human.
And those are just a few of the topsy-turvey twists my life has taken.
From philosophy student to test-prep book editor, from non-profit volunteer to corporate marketer, I’ve made quite a few “pivots”. Here’s hoping some of the lessons I’ve learned, questions I’ve had, and experiences I’ve endured will help someone else on their journey.
And most of all, I want to perpetually learn from my family, my friends, my colleagues, and the strangers I meet daily.
